MSTRKRFT Likes to do the D.A.N.C.E.

Justice – D.A.N.C.E. (MSTRKRFT Remix)

MSTRKRFT, pronounced “master-craft”, was formed in 2005 by Jesse F. Keeler and AI-P.  Since then they’ve released two phenomenal albums, and I have a feeling The Looks, their debut album, is sure to stand the test of time.  It’s a solid half hour of fun, poppy synths that is guaranteed to make you want to dance.  Their sophomore effort is a little inconsistent, but solid nonetheless.  Bounce (ft. N.O.R.E. and Isis) has become my personal pre-game anthem.  With the repeated chorus of “All I do is party!” how could anyone resist?  It seems they tried for a more mainstream approach as they abandoned their robot voices for more traditional vocals from John Legend, Ghostface Killah, E-40, and a few others.  However, it’s still a great experience and definitely worth a listen.

MSTRKRFT has also produced a large number of remixes for the likes of Annie, Bloc Party, Wolfmother, and Armand Van Helden.  However, the track of the day is going to be MSTRKRFT’s remix of Justice’s D.A.N.C.E. One of my favorite artists remixing another of my favorite artists?  This is almost too much to handle.  I was thinking…does their respective awesomeness add up?  And then I realized, no, it definitely multiplies.  My point being, this track is sick.  Enjoy!
